Upon completing the course, the student will possess knowledge and abilities regarding:

• the study location
• the history and culture of the host country
• the application of abstract concepts to a foreign location or region

Course Description

Possible themes of the reflection paper address aspects of the location or region in which course work is done:

• Natural geography
• Historical and political development
• Government
• Demographics
• Culture and religion, including custom
• Local or regional attractions

Assessment Methods

Examination

Grades are pass or fail. In order to receive a certificate of one semester’s completed study (30 ECTS), the student must submit paper in Fronter prior to the end of the semester in question.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
