Learning outcome

After completing the course, the students should have the following qualifications regarding knowledge, skills, and general competence:

Course Description

Important topics include an overview of the ecology and management of Norwegian wildlife resources including e.g. habitat requirements, population dynamics, landscape ecology and predator-prey relationships. Special emphasis will be placed on the most important hunted and threatened species.

Assessment Methods

The course grade consists of two parts: a term paper that counts 50% and a final exam (3 hours) that counts 50%. Both the term paper and final exam must receive a passing grade in order to pass the course.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
