Learning outcome
A supervised project should provide particular insight into a chosen academic subject at Master’s level, and be presented in written form.
After completing the project, the students should have the following qualification regarding knowledge, skills and general competence:
- have advanced knowledge within the academic field
- be able to apply this knowledge to new areas
- be able to analyze existing theories, methods and interpretations in the field
- use relevant methods for research
- analyze relevant academic research
- master language and terminology and be able to communicate independent work
Course Description
The project may be a minor in-depth study or a literature survey of the relevant literature within a chosen theme.
Teaching and Learning Methods
A supervised project can be planned according to agreement, in which an academic supervisor is assigned specifically for the project. Such a project is normally available only if available electives do not adequately cover the theme in question.
Assessment Methods
The supervised project shall be completed with a report/essay which will be evaluated by an external examiner. The grade may be adjusted by an oral examination, which will result in one joint grade.
