1022 Finance and Budgeting

Course Objectives

The course aims to provide students with elementary knowledge of economics to facilitate employment in the public and private cultural and/or sport sectors.

Course Description

1. Introduction to economics and elementary accounting
2. Financial management with an emphasis on budgeting
3. Budgeting in the public sector with an emphasis on municipal administration
4. Financial accounting in sports

Learning Methods

Roughly two hours of lectures per week in the autumn semester.
Lectures and group projects

Assessment Methods

4-hour individual written examination.
