Course Objectives

The purpose of the practice period is to provide students with working experience in a relevant placement which they propose themselves. The practice period will give students an opportunity to employ the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies, in order to learn to take responsibility for the execution of the assignments which they are given during this period.

Learning Methods

Students propose their own practice placements, and receive help from the student counsellor in establishing contacts and agreements. The practice period encompasses 3 weeks in January. Possible practice placements may be in sport federations, county municipalities, soccer clubs, outdoor activity organisations, sport organisations and businesses etc.
During the practice period, students work independently on tasks agreed upon jointly with the advisor at the practice placement. A report will be made in the spring concerning the practice period.

Assessment Methods

Submission of a practice report in the spring
Mark: pass/ fail.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
