To understand important instrumental analysis methods. Practice in using instrumental analysis apparatus.

Course Description

Ultraviolet and visible absorption spectroscopy. Infrared and atomic absorption; spectroscopy. Gas chromatography. High-pressure liquid chromatography. Potentiometry.

Lectures and assignments. Laboratory exercises.

Assessment Methods

Midterm examination (30%). Written final examination (70%).
