Course Objectives

Alternating current (AC) theory and proficiency in handling AC problems. Basic knowledge about and skill in the use of computer-aided drafting programs (CAD).

Course Description

Different conditions of single phase, and symmetrical/asymmetrical three phase networks. Basic functions of 2D-AutoCAD.

Learning Methods

Lectures, exercises, mandatory work in electrical and CAD laboratories.

Assessment Methods

Under way exams and tests (30 %), final exam (70 %). All laboratory work must have been completed satisfactorily before the student will be admitted to the final exam.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
