Læringsmål
This basic course in introductory ecology will introduce the student to many of the elementary concepts surrounding individual, population and community ecology. The knowledge obtained here will be essential for thorough understanding of the more applied and specialized fields of ecology including wildlife and fisheries management, conservation biology, and alpine ecology.

- Population dynamics and growth
- Life histories
- Community ecology
- Predation, herbivory, parasitism and disease
