Læringsmål

Two main objectives can be outlined:

· Students will learn how to develop multimedia based information materials about their research work

· Students will learn how to publish their information about their research work to common people and to research Institutes on the web and/or on a CD/DVD

The student will have basic knowledge about:

· how to develop multimedia based information material with Macromedia software

· how to publish the material on the web

· arrange the material for different goals

Innhold

· Basic knowledge in picture processing
· Basic knowledge in communication
· Basic knowledge in building web pages using Macromedia MX 2004 (Flash and/or Dreamweaver)

Provides access to information about products from Macromedia. There are also tutorials, guidelines and other help available.

Organisering

The course will be given by e-learning methodology.

The students will learn how to develop multimedia based information materials for presentation on the web and for public presentations, with the use of for example a CD or a DVD, by actually developing it. The students will be given interactive supervision during their production of the material(s)

Vurderingsformer

Students have to submit the information materials for comments from fellow students and from examinators. Assessment is based on the following criteria:

· Does the content present the students work?

· The structure of the material

· Size optimization of the material

· Does the presentation reach assumed readers?
