Sports and Practical Activities, Winter/Spring 10PRACTW
Innhold
Working with snowboarding, ice-skating, cross country skiing, telemark skiing, floorball, climbing and subject didactics will ensure variation between the development of personal skills, theoretical understanding, practice teaching and didactic reflection.
The students will pursue the learning objectives by:
- Considering the similarities and differences between the various activities, and the values offered by the mediation of sports in the school subject Physical Education.
- Demonstrating skills and the ability to provide guidance in the chosen activities
- Creating a plan to teach the same skills
- Developing variations in the games and training methods, based on insights gained though working with the various activities
- Creating alternative sports-related and practical activities through experimentation and cooperation with others
- Gaining experience with, and an understanding of, the use of different learning arenas, such as the natural environment and gymnasiums when working with sports-related and practical activities
- Developing an ability to discuss sports and practical activities from a historical perspective, in relation to Norwegian cultural and educational traditions.
