· Planning for inland water quality assessments

· Conducting sampling and analyses included in the assessment

· Evaluating, writing and orally presenting a scientifically based report and defend its contents

Diploma work.

The Master’s thesis is a detailed study based on original research and submitted for a Master’s degree.

Basic requirements
The work of the thesis should deal with a problem in Environmental science focused on Inland Water Quality Assessment. The work should include performing analyses and conducting evaluations of results. Overall the thesis work should have scientific quality. The report should be written in English

Each student will have a thesis advisor appointed from the “HomeUniversity”. After completing the Masters thesis the student shall give an oral presentation of his/her work at a Masters Thesis seminar at which one researcher selected by the Department will act as opponent.
