Læringsmål

Course goals:
The students will have the opportunity to study in depth a topic of special interest in order to confirm and apply a deeper understanding of philosophical responses to the ecological crisis.

Innhold

Course descriptions
Students are expected to write an original term paper on the basis of the topics in the course 2606 Ecophilosophy. The students can chose topics themselves, but it needs to be approved by the instructor.

Organisering

Organisation:
Students need to follow the course 2606 Ecophilosophy, where lectures and readings are in English. Norwegian or Danish students may turn in written assignments in their own language. Students who wish to write a term paper in addition to the course 2606, need to sign up for this course 2612 Ecophilosophy: Term paper. This will require an additionale reading (approx. 250 pages), chosen by the students themselves and approved by the instructor. The term paper will will be written under supervision by the instructor and handed in at the ende of the semester.

Evaluation
Term paper which counts for 100% of the grade.
